Clay County Sheriff Brison Swearingen

BRAZIL — Early Sunday morning tried to pull over a motorcycle heading south on Indiana 59 near Indiana 42.

The motorcyclist was being followed after showing signs of impairment.

When he stopped several miles later, the operator of that motorcycle was identified as 32 year old Michael Floyd of Center Point.
Floyd was transported and booked into the Clay County Jail and preliminarily charged with:

• Resisting Law Enforcement – Level 6 Felony;
• Operating a Vehicle While Habitual Traffic Violator – Level 6 Felony; and
• Possession of Marijuana- B Misdemeanor.
