Clay City officials say the recent storms have not caused much damage, but many electrical lines are down, and many people have no water.

A generator is currently being connected to the water plant.

However, before testing can be completed, there is a boil order until at least Friday, July 9 – and maybe longer due to power issues.

Customers must boil their water until the test samples return from the state. The testing process requires up to 48 hours for completion.
