BRAZIL – A thousand pounds of ground beef and 400 hams will be distributed free of charge to Clay County residents on Tuesday, Aug. 15th at the Cow Palace in Brazil’s Forest Park, off State Road 59, from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Cars should enter through the softball field entrance. Residents should stay in their cars and food will be brought to the vehicles by volunteers. Drivers must show drivers licenses or state ID that indicates they live in Clay County.

The food was paid for with a $10,000 grant from the Duke Energy Foundation. Mayor Brian Wyndham and Duke Energy Community Relations Manager Rick Burger plan to be in attendance.
