VIGO COUNTY (DLC Media) – A semi-trailer hauling lumber was run off of the road on SR 42 and resulted in injury. Just after 8:00 this morning 30-year-old Barry Collins Jr. was forced out of his lane on SR 42 causing him to exit the roadway and forcing the semi to roll over.

SR 42 was closed during the clean-up process on both the east and westbound lanes. Lumber was spread across the road following the accident.

A passenger with Collins was airlifted to an Indianapolis Hospital with lacerations to both her arm and hand.

No other vehicle has been located that may have run the semi off of the road.
