BRAZIL, Indiana (DLC Media) – The man found guilty of murdering his stepfather has been sentenced. Cody Wade was found guilty of murdering his step-father, 53-year-old Carl Haviland last month.

Wade has now been sentenced to 85 years in prison. The sentencing came yesterday in the Clay County Superior Court. Wade stabbed Haviland to death minutes after speaking with his mother. the murder was committed in June of 2020.
