Rockville, In. – The Rockville Rotary Club hosted District 6560 Rotary governor Jennifer Stanfield
(in center) at their recent meeting held at the Thirty-Six Saloon banquet room in
Rockville. District governor Stanfield, who is a member of the Crawfordsville Rotary
Club, discussed the international theme this year: “Create Hope in the World” and how it
applies to local clubs. On left is assistant district governor Jerad Jernagan, from the
Greencastle Rotary Club and current Rockville Rotary president Dawn Newnum is on
right.
At the central Indiana district level her emphasis is on helping remove the stigma that
sometimes prevents people from getting quality mental health care, improving
connections with Rotarians through virtual exchanges, empowering girls and putting new
emphasis on the Rotary effort to eradicate polio worldwide.
The Rotary Club of Rockville is one of over 46,000 Rotary International clubs world-
wide promoting community service, peace and understanding. The club normally meets
each Monday evening at 5:30 p.m. in the banquet room at the Thirty-Six Saloon in
Rockville.
