STATEWIDE (DLC Media) – Outgoing Terre Haute Mayor Duke Bennett will be moving on to a position at the state level following the inauguration of Mayor-elect Brandon Sakbun, at the beginning of the year. Bennett will take over the vacant Executive Director position for the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (ORCA). Bennett, who has been mayor of Terre Haute since 2007, will take over the vacant position originally held by Denny Spinner, who has moved onto the interim Executive Director for the Center for Rural Engagement at Indiana University.

Bennett will take over the position on January 8th.
