Parke County, In. – The Indiana State Police have arrested two people in the death of a 3-month-old infant. On Friday May 17th the dead infant was brought to the Union Health Hospital in Clinton by the parents 18-year-old Ashlynn G. Casey and 24-year-old Jordan Washington both of Rockville. The Indiana State Police was contacted by the Vermillion County Coroner’s Office to investigate the death of the infant. The An autopsy was completed on May 20 at Regional Hospital which determined that the infant’s death was due to malnutrition.  After an investigation and executing a search warrant the State Police arrested the parents, Ashlynn G Casey and Jordan Washington. They were charged with Neglect of a Dependent Resulting in Death, Level 1 Felony.
