Terre Haute, In. – Officials at Terre Haute Regional Airport are getting ready for a crowd of over 25,000 people attending this weekend’s airshow at the airport. A third-party company has been hired to assist with parking and traffic flow along with local Law enforcement officers to help direct traffic and provide other assistance. There will be more gates open allowing better access to the airport than at the last air show, which should keep traffic from backing up. Weather is always a factor for events such as the air show.  Plans are in place to use paved tarmac at the airport for parking should the area experience heavy rainfall.  Currently the forecast for the weekend looks pretty good. Gates will open Saturday at 9am with the air show beginning at noon.  Tickets will be available at the gates or online at terrehauteairshow.com
