Vigo County, In. –Currently two people have filed to run for the Vigo County School Board in this fall’s election.  Christina Crist has filed in District 1 and incumbent Stacy Killion in District 3. Crist has been executive director of Team of Mercy, a local nonprofit. Killion is the community engagement manager with the Terre Haute Children’s Museum; she is seeking a second term. The filing period began May 21 and extends to noon June 20. The filing dates used to be during the summer but were changed as part of Senate Enrolled Act 177 in the 2023 session.
