EVANSVILLE, Ind. — An odd happening in Evansville involving a baby and a repossessed car. On Thursday, a woman stepped out of her car for a moment to drop her son off at daycare. It was at that moment a tow truck driver with a repossession company took the chance to take the woman’s car away. The thing is, the woman’s seven day old baby daughter was still in the car. The woman called the car in stolen to police. Later on the tow truck driver stopped near Wolfe’s Auto Auction and that’s when they discovered the baby girl. She’s back with her mom now. No charges are expected to be filed, say investigators.
