Vigo Co. School Corp. Receives Money For Student Mental Health

Terre Haute, In. – Monday the Vigo County Commissioners present the Vigo County School Corporation a check for $150,000 to be used to support student mental health.  The Money comes from the county’s ARPA funds.  The money will allow the school corporation to continue project aware when the current funding runs out.  Project aware includes mental health promotion, awareness, and prevention. It attempts to erase the stigma surrounding mental health and mental health practices in the school system.
