Terre Haute, In. – American Water Works the parent Company of Indiana American Water reports that hackers have hacked into their computer networks and system. The company first learned of the intrusion to their system last Thursday.  They shut down certain systems in order to protect customer information.  While the systems are down customers will not be charged late fees. American Water Works serves more than 1,700 communities in 14 states. In Indiana, AW serves about 1.4 million people.
