Terre Haute, In. – The City of Terre Haute is implementing a 50/50 sidewalk replacement program.  The program will split the cost of replacing adjacent sidewalks with the homeowner.  The mayor says if you call and say you’d like to update your sidewalk the city will look and see if it’s already scheduled to be replaced this year.  If not, the city will offer to cover the cost of the materials and the concrete, and the resident can cover the cost of labor, to help speed the updating of the sidewalk.
