Former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels To Speak at I.S.U.

Terre Haute, In. – Former Indiana Governor Mitch Daniels is scheduled to speak February 17th at Tilson Auditorium at Indiana State University.  Daniels speech is a part of the University’s Speaker Series; it is open to the public and free. Daniels will discuss the future of higher education. Daniels was Indiana’s Governor from 2004 to 2012.  From there he became the 12th president of Purdue University, from 2013 to 2022.  Daniels also served as chief of staff to Senator Richard Lugar, senior advisor to President Ronald Reagan, director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush, and CEO of the Hudson Institute. He also spent over a decade as an executive at Eli Lilly and Company.
