Terre Haute, In. – Sunday evening Terre Haute police officers were dispatched to a home in the 1400 block of south 18th street on a call about a unwanted guest who had several warrants. When they arrived, they found 52-year-old Ramant Cooper of Terre Haute in the yard. Cooper acknowledged the officer but refused to respond to commands. He took off on foot jumping several fences over several blocks with officers in pursuit. They finally stopped him by using a Taser. On top of his felony warrants he now faces a charge of Resisting Law Enforcement.
