Suspect Arrested for Recent Break Ins and Thefts

Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Police Department has arrested 2 men in connection to several break-ins and burglaries on the northside of Terre Haute.  The break ins occurred at a hair salon, vape shop, tow yard and stores in the Plaza North area.  Police got a break in the investigation last week and served a search warrant at one of the suspects’ homes.  When they searched the home, they found 51 year old Ruben Floyd hiding in the basement.  He was wanted for outstanding drug warrants not related to the burglary case. The information obtained led them to 23-year-old Corey Peters of Terre Haute and a 17-year-old male. They were arrested and charged with Burglary, Theft, Criminal Mischief and auto theft.
