Mecca, In. – Parke County Deputies were called to a residence near Mecca shortly after midnight Saturday on a Domestic Abuse Complaint.  When the Deputies arrived, they observed visible injuries on the victim.  The victim said the suspect was hiding in the residence.  The deputies found the suspect and took him into custody.  He was identified as 30-year-old Greggory Fransted of Mecca. He was booked into the Parke County jail and charged with Level 5 Felony Domestic Battery with a prior unrelated conviction.  He’s being held with no bond.
