Indianapolis, In. – Thursday Clinton Resident Tim Yocum was sworn in as the district 42 Indiana House State Representative. Yocum was selected in a party caucus last Tuesday to fill the seat of Rep. Alan Morrison, R-Brazil who stepped down to become the director of the Indiana Department of Conservation. Yocum and his wife, Kim, live in Clinton and have a daughter, Kylee. He works for Duke Energy. He previously served as a Vermillion County Commissioner for 10 years and served as the board’s president for the past four years. He also serves as the chair of the Vermillion County Republican Party.
