Wabash Valley – Dr. Darren Brucken has been named as the new Chief Medical Officer for Horizon Health.  Dr. Brucken is the current Vigo County Health Officer and the CEO of PINK Inc. a non-profit benefiting breast cancer patients.  Dr. Brucken has over 25 years of experience in the medical field.  As the Chief Medical Officer at Horizon Health Dr. Brucken will serve as a liaison between the medical and administrative staff, provide oversight of medical staff bylaws and ensure compliance with accreditation standards, collaborate with the medical staff to mitigate areas of concern, ensuring patients receive high-quality care,” said Horizon Health in a press release. Dr. Brucken will continue his current, full-time position as Hospital Medical Director at Horizon Health.
