GREENFIELD, IN – Three adult women who were wanted on felony warrants out of Georgia allegedly took to social media to taunt law enforcement by saying “Do your job [expletive]”. On  Sunday February 24th that is exactly what Trooper Christopher Walts did, he did his job by putting these fugitives in jail after a short police chase.
Early Sunday, just after 6:00 p.m. Trooper Waltz was patrolling I-70 in Hancock County, about 15 miles east of Indianapolis, when he spotted a white Nissan Sentra allegedly travelling at an excessive speed. As he pulled in behind the Nissan, but before activating his emergency lights, Waltz said the driver of the Nissan made an abrupt lane change from an exit only lane, back onto the interstate. Trooper Waltz turned on his emergency lights and the driver of the Nissan failed to stop, leading the Trooper on a chase that entered Henry County and resulted in other police agencies joining in. The car was finally stopped on I-70 near the 120 mile marker.  All three occupants were taken into police custody and transported to the Hancock County Jail.
The car, which was a rental, was impounded. During an inventory of the car, officers found several credit cards, check books, social security cards and identification cards that had been stolen.
The occupants were each wanted on felony warrants from Covington Georgia related to a string of thefts in that area.
Police arrested 23 year old Toni L. Huizar of Ft. Myers Florida, 27 year old Amber L. Dunlap of Lehigh Acres, Florida and 26 year old Tiphanie D. Sager of Cape Coral Florida.
