WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind.  — Purdue University is moving to block Netflix and other popular streaming services in classrooms.
The move the school says is an attempt to focus on academics while reducing the university’s broadband usage.
The change will reportedly take effect when students return from spring break on March 18.
The university will assign space in some buildings where students can access the streaming sites.
Social media sites won’t be blocked.
