TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Tuesday afternoon fire is being called “suspicious” by investigators with the Terre Haute Fire Department.

The fire happened around 3:30 p.m. at a house near 15th and Locust streets. The fire started and was contained in the rear of the home.

No one was home at the time and no one was injured but a family pet died.
