VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – Two people were arrested Wednesday morning after short foot chase near Cobblestone Crossing in southern Vigo County.

Police said they received a phone call about a suspicious person.

Officers found 29 year old Lyndon Yocum of Chrisman, Ill. who tried to run from them.

During a short foot chase, Yocum dropped a bag containing a gun, counterfeit money, marijuana, and paraphernalia.

He is now being held on multiple charges without bond and is scheduled to appear in court Thursday (2/28/19).

21 year old Megan Coleman of Terre Haute, was also arrested during the incident and faces drug and other charges
