ROCKVILLE, Ind. – Funeral services have been set for a former Rockville police chief.

Howard ‘Dewey’ White passed away Sunday at the age of 83.

Visitation is from noon until 2:00 Thursday afternoon at Gooch Funeral Home in Rockville.

Services and burial will follow directly after.

White served as an officer and a firefighter early in his career and after a short absence returned as police chief.
