TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – An accused armed robber appears in Vigo County Court asking for a bond reduction.
Police say that 17-year-old Daivionne Young took a cab to Greenwood Apartments near Voorhees and South 19th streets last week.
He pulled a gun on the driver and tried to rob him.
The driver was also armed, pulled his weapon and shot Young.
Young suffered a non-life-threatening injury.
The judge denied the request for a lower bond.
Young is currently being held on $75,000 bond and is set to go on trial November 18th.
