State Park Closed Due To Shortage Of Drinking Water

BROWN COUNTY, Ind – Brown County State Park is closed because of the rain–ironically, the problem is no drinkable water!

The heavy rain has washed a lot of soil into Ogle lake. That’s causing problems for the park’s water treatment plant. The Department of Natural Resources has engineers working with consultants to find a fix.

Campers in the park and guests at Abe Martin Lodge were heading home Monday.
