
TERRE HAUTE, Ind – A Terre Haute man was sentenced to four years in prison Friday on a charge of battery resulting in serious bodily injury.
30 year old Daniel Allsup was charged in connection to a fight outside the Sixth Avenue Bar on Lafayette Avenue last December.
Allsup was also given a suspended two-year sentence for theft in connection with a home improvement fraud case from June 2017.
As part of the plea agreement charges of aggravated battery and criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon were dropped in connection to the bar fight. Charges of home improvement fraud, exploitation of an endangered adult and fraud were dropped in the home improvement fraud case.
