INDIANA – Indiana’s 911 dispatchers are expecting thousands of calls this Fourth of July Weekend, but your complaint about fireworks shouldn’t be one of them.
Police across the state are asking Hoosiers not to call 911 with complaints about fireworks.
If you need to report a loud and rowdy party, or if setting off fireworks when they’re not supposed to, you should call your local police department’s non-emergency line. If you have a cell phone, you can reach the non-emergency line by dialing 311.
