VIGO COUNTY, Ind. – The sale of a dummy hand-grenade gone bad has led to the shooting of a man in a West Terre Haute.
Detectives say 40 year old Colt Cooley of West Terre Haute shot Justin Roacho on June 18th.
According to court documents, Roacho visited Cooley in his camper trailer on West Jefferson Avenue to sell a dummy hand grenade for $30.
During the visit Cooley reportedly got mad and complained about a previous drug deal gone bad and Cooley shot Roacho in the forearm.
Detectives believe the bullet remains lodged in Roacho’s arm.
