VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Around 6:30 a.m. Saturday morning Vermillion County Deputies were told of a vehicle sitting in the middle of the road on County Road 1000 North.

Police say that 32 year old Robert L. Johnson II of Cayuga, was found asleep behind the wheel of his vehicle.

Officers say that during a search of his vehicle he attempted to toss a plastic bag into the ditch.

The bag was recovered and was found to contain crystal methamphetamine.  Officers also found a glass pipe and digital scales.

Johnson is being held on multiple charges.
