VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. – Vermillion County continues to look for answers to address jail overcrowding.

The problem is not currently serious, but leaders want to get ahead of the problem before it does become serious.

Sheriff Mike Phelps said whether the County expands the jail or not the jail still needs upgrades on the inside. 

The next step is for the County to do a feasibility study.
