INDIANAPOLIS — The two people who died Wednesday afternoon in the downtown Indianapolis parking garage accident have been identified as a woman and man from Illinois.

Iristeen Hunt, 70, was the driver of the 2013 Lincoln SUV, and Charles Hunt, 73, was in the passenger seat.

Investigators say they were on the third floor of the parking garage near City Market, when they hit a parked car, drove another 20 feet, and through the garage wall, falling to the ground below, landing upside down.

The Marion County Coroner rules it an accident, and says the Hunts died of multiple blunt force trauma injuries.
