CLARK COUNTY, Ill. – Recreational marijuana will be legal soon in Illinois but officials in Clark County are putting some restrictions on the drug.

A new ordinance recently passed bans selling, growing, or making the drug.

Those who get caught can be fined $1,000.

The new ordinance went into effect Friday (11/15/19).
