TERRE HAUTE, Ind.  – On Thursday, Terre Haute Fire Chief Jeff Fisher announced that he is running for Vigo County Commissioner in District Three.

That seat is currently held by Brad Anderson(R). At this point Anderson has not made an official announcement as to whether he intends to run for reelection.

Fisher has been fire chief for around 12 years.

If Fisher wins, he would step down as Fire Chief.
