ILLINOIS – A law that would put a price cap on insulin for Illinois diabetics is on the way to Governor J.B. Pritzker’s desk.
Illinois Bill 667 would cap the price of insulin co-pays for patients.
Co-pays would be capped at $100 a month – no matter the type or amount of insulin the person needs.
The bill has passed both the House and Senate and is awaiting Governor Pritzker’s signature. He says he supports the bill.
