VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Indiana State Police began a criminal investigation on November 19, 2019, after receiving information from Lieutenant Dustin Walls of the Clinton Police Department that a female, under the age of 14, had been sexually battered.
Indiana State Police say that their investigation revealed that 25 year old Daniel L. Harris, of Clinton, allegedly battered a female juvenile under the age of 14.
After reviewing the investigation, the Vermillion County Prosecutor requested a warrant for Harris’ arrest which was granted and today (3/6/20) Harris was arrested at his residence.
He is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on a $15,000 bond with 10% allowed.
He faces a Felony charge of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor.
