VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind – Sunday morning (03/15/2020) around 11:20a.m. Vermillion Cunty Deputies spotted a car on SR 63, that was weaving across the highway.

 

Deputies stopped 22-year-old Dustin Stevens, of West Terre Haute who appeared to be impaired.

 

Stevens agreed to and failed field sobriety tests and admitted to having marijuana paraphernalia in his vehicle. 

 

Officers also found a loaded 9mm pistol which he did not have a license for since he was a convicted felon.

 

Stevens tested positive for the presence of cannabinoids and was arrested on several drug charges.

 

He is being held in the Vermillion County Jail on $15,000 bond.
