WASHINGTON, D.C.–American may not get back to work as soon as the president would like. Sen. Mike Braun says we don’t need to lose ground in the fight against the spread of the virus. He told Fox Business, Wednesday, that while Easter is a possibility, he feels the economy will likely get going again a bit later.

“We’re not gonna get the world, states, small businesses, back to where it’s a normal feeling until we get back to business as usual,” he said.

Braun said he believes the relief package that the Senate has agreed on is not perfect, but is the best that we can do right now to get money into the hands of businesses and Americans.

He says the focus needs to be on economic relief, but the priority should be getting the spread of coronavirus under control.

“We’ll not really lessen the national anxiety until we get the disease under control.”
