TERRE HAUTE, Ind – Officials at the U.S. Penitentiary in Terre Haute are investigating the stabbing of an inmate that happened Tuesday.

The altercation between two inmates happened just before 10:00 a.m.

The injured inmate was taken to the hospital for treatment.

No other injuries were reported.
