TERRE HAUTE, Ind  – The Vigo County Public Library has re-opened.

The main and West Terre Haute buildings were closed for several weeks due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

There are protective shields at service desks and staff members are wearing masks plus practicing social distancing.

Curbside and delivery services will remain in place

You’ll also notice seating and activity changes, this is to avoid groups of people gathering.

The library averaged about 1,000 guests per day before the pandemic.

As with any business or activity if you’re not feeling well, stay home.
