
Brazil, In. – John Szabo was named Director of School Financial Affairs at Thursday’s meeting of the Clay Community Schools Board of Trustees meeting at North Clay Middle School.
Szabo is a nine-year veteran of Clay Community Schools, serving as a teacher and administrator.
Szabo said his duties will include “reporting on school financial affairs” to the school corporation’s stakeholders.
In other business:
* Superintendent Fritz reported Goals Academy achieved 100 percent of the students taking the high school graduation tests passed and he congratulated Northview High School’s Winter Guard for their recent accomplishments.
* The superintendent also expressed his thoughts on the proposed school re-entry plan revision, which can be viewed on the Clay Community Schools’ website, http://clay.k12.in.us.
“I can assure you no one is happier than the superintendent” with the revision prompted by changed recommendations from medical officials. The revised re-entry plan was approved by the Trustees 6-0.
