SULLIVAN, Ind.–The sheriff’s department in Sullivan will be using a police dog to sniff out whomever is smoking pot inside the Sullivan Housing Authority apartments. Sullivan County Sheriff Clark Cottom said Friday he’s authorized Deputy Justin Copeland and his canine partner “Ace” to begin patrolling the hallways in search if the smoker. Cottom pointed to a fire in 2014 caused by smoking that killed one person and injured many others.
