The St. Mary’s Village Church is sponsoring the 8th Annual Hunger Bust Fun Run/Walk to raise money for the Providence Food Pantry in West Terre Haute.

This fun event will be held on the St. Mary-of-the-Woods College Campus on Saturday, Sept. 7. Registration is from 9-9:45 with the fun run/walk beginning at 10 am. The entry fee is $10.

A registration form can be downloaded at fb.me/hungerbustrunwalk, or by emailing jrichey75@gmail.com, or calling 812-535-3048 for a registration form. You can also pick up a registration form at the Vigo IGA, the West Terre Haute Library, or the YMCA in Terre Haute.

If your registration is received before Aug. 22, you will receive a free t-shirt at the event. Pre-activities will include a Free Kid Zone with face painting and games.

Participants are also asked to bring a box of saltine crackers the fun run/walk to be donated to the pantry. The run/walk is approximately 2 miles and is stroller and wheelchair friendly. This annual event brings the community together to feed the hungry right in our own area.
